WORLD replacement microprocessor boards are sold without software. In order to use the board in a controller, it is necessary to retain the memory chips from the original board, or to install archive copies of the originals. WORLD strongly recommends that copies of all EPROM memory chips be made for archive purposes as soon as a job is placed under contract. Damaged PC boards can be repaired or replace by WORLD, but damaged memory chips can only be replaced by the elevator’s original manufacturer.
